What is Tanzania CoC/PVoC certification?

The Executive Director of the Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS) has issued a formal official confirmation document to implement and execute this conformity assessment procedure (PVoC).

Tanzania CoC/PVoC certification is a document required for customs clearance of exports to Tanzania, and is used for customs clearance of goods in Tanzania. If each batch of goods is included in the appendix of controlled products listed in Tanzania, it should be inspected on site before shipment to confirm that the product complies with the relevant technical regulations and recognized standards of Tanzania.

Currently, the regulated products include: low-voltage electrical appliances, toys, building coating materials, biodegradable plastic products, etc. The export of products within this range must first obtain Tanzania CoC/PVoC certification before they can be exported to Tanzania.
